From Lasa to Lake Yamrok, at an altitude of 4500 mt( for more information please refer to the first photo in the series, "At the Gate of Heaven" Thank you very much)
After a memorable four hours drive in a primitive bus, we reached lake Yamrok at more than 4500mt of altitude and with a strong suggestion not to do anything more than walk softly and avoid any other sort of exertion. In fact, there was no need to do anything else than raise the camera and shoot...! The view was terrific. No way to walk to.. the border lake, the height your feet were standing was incredible. The clouds and the bulk of the mountains around another magic.
Sometimes you think that even taking a photo of something you will spoil it!

A magnificent scene..... and I can well imagine your awe and wonder at being there. What really fascinates me are those tiny feild by the shore of the lake.... where do the farmers live and come from that they should wish to cultivate that small area......:))
