Many thanks go to Robert Buatois who is an expert on all the little ccritters - this is not a Mosquito but a Midge - and they don't sting ...

Très belle capture et N&B de cette fleur de magnolia quant à l'insecte, il ne me semble pas qu'il s'agisse d'un moustique mais d'un Chironome plumeux ( à cause de ses antennes duveteuses) Chironomus plumosus et si c'est le cas, cet insecte ne pique pas, mais est apprécié des pêcheurs.Amitiés et bon dimanche
