The Living Forest (898) : Northern Goshawk
The goshawk is a powerful raptor that usually lives hidden and is therefore difficult to photograph !
It is known as a very agile hunter of the woodlands.
The eyes of the goshawk in my photo are yellow, which means that he's not yet an adult, because then they would be red.
Dutch name : Havik
German name : Habicht
Latin name : Accipiter gentilis gentilis

die Abstimmung habe ich wohl verpaßt. Das tut mir sehr leid und das Ergebnis ist sehr ärgerlich, denn diese Aufnahme ist einfach großartig, Mark.Man wundert sich nur, wie oft hier die einfachsten Bilder in der Galerie landen und andererseits erstklassige Vorschläge wenig Beachtung finden.
Das ändert jedoch nichts an der Qualität der entsprechenden Bilder.

Wieder etwas gelernt.Exzellente Fotoarbeit von dem schönen Jungspund mit seiner Beute.
Die er nach Art der Greifvögel vor anderen abschirmt.
