The Living Forest (731) : Redwing
The redwing is a migratory songbird with a striking reddish brown flank that breeds in the most northern regions of Europe (Iceland, Scandinavia and Russia).
Redwings living in the east of Russia migrate about 7000 km to reach their wintering grounds in western and central Europe.
