The late Ceasar Manrique was responsible for much of the Islands sculpture. He designed the tourist centre and created a natural auditorium and artistic gardens. The Cactus Garden is one of César Manrique's last works.


Lanzarote is formed by more than 100 volcanos that form a fascinating landscape which is unique in the world. Lanzarote is placed 750kms south of Gibraltar and it is the most easterly of the Canaries.
