on the boardwalk in Telegraph Cove and not your average large fire truck, but a hose that would hopefully reach all the wooden houses on the wooden walkway and stilts if there was a fire .......

Better to start immediately to fight a fire with small hoses - than waiting for a bigger fire truck ... a photograph which shows the readiness of fire fighting and your way to present it in the best possible way ++++

I don't know the equivalent in English, but this scene remind me of "Bullerbü" my favorite book when I was 6 or 7 years old, written by Astrid Lindgren, a Swedish author and animal welfarist.
So magical and idyllic! I'm really impressed!

The fire department cottage is also adorned with flowering plants.
Of course that tube seems small to me, but it will only be my impression. Surely everything is under control.

  thank you, Emilio ... yes, I hope so ... only 20 or so people live here, but everything is built out of wood - houses and streets and docks to the boats ....
