The dunes of Canunda

Wie ich unter dem vorigen Bild schon geschrieben habe, braucht man 4 Radantrieb um dort hin zukommen. Ausserdem einen sehr geübten Fahrer. Unser Freund ist die Strecke schon oft gefahren, diesmal hat er es nicht beim ersten Anlauf geschafft. Er mußte Luft aus den Reifen lassen und 2 von uns sind gelaufen, wir waren zu fünft im Auto.

As I wrote under the previous picture, you need 4 wheel drive to get there. Also a very experienced driver. Our friend has driven the route many times, but this time he didn't make it the first time. He had to let air out of the tires and 2 of us walked, there were five of us in the car.

Das ist ja mal ein gewagtes Abenteuer, hat aber bestimmt viel Spaß gemacht.

das war bestimmt aufregend und ein schönes Erlebnis.
Zum Glück kommt man dort nur so dort hin,
sonst wäre es bestimmt überlaufen ;-)

  zu aufregend für mich, ich war eine die gelaufen ist beim 2. Anlauf.:-) Aber ja dort ist es immer ziemlich leer.

great .... what fun it must be to go up and down these
dunes in a 4 wheel drive - great your safe view from
below and giving a perfect idea of how steep the
dunes are !!!

Driving a 4X4 up a steep slope with loose sand is usually as difficult as a snowy steep slope, as I could experience myself several times, but it's always great fun.

  Ich war eine die gelaufen ist, ist schon ziemlich aufregend und ich kannte es schon von vor 4. Jahren, da sind wir allerdings beim ersten mal rüber gekommen.
