a very cool image of these bridges at different heights and colours -
great timing capturing the bus driving over the top one !!!
    best regards,

Excellent with the many bridges. The border seems to distract my eye. The colors and layers is super.

Do you mean the border is too thick ? Maybe. As for the bridges - I stand there waiting for trains/vehicles/metro trains - to move across the bridges - and I lose patience. The sandy-coloured bridge (circa 1850 by Robert Stephenson) - is the high level bridge - which has the interesting, tunnel-like quality(in the other pictures)- where pedestrians walk alongside the road. Mark.

So many bridges on different levels in one photo. Really eye-catching! The bus is perfect :-)

Not as good as newcastle bridges number 6, though. There are 5 bridges in this picture. From the bottom, they are - the swing bridge (road) 1876 ; the King Edward VII Bridge (rail) 1906 ; the (blue) metro rail bridge of 1981 ; the High level Bridge (rail and road) of 1849 ; and the Tyne Bridge (road) of 1928. It is nearly 200 years of engineering effort ! Mark.
