Vaporia(Ships)

Vaporia is the famous quarter in Ermoupolis housing the imposing mansions of the rich local sea merchants. The houses were solidly built by local craftsmen and architects to sustain stormy weather and strong winds in the same way that their ships could endure the same weather conditions.
Now these houses passed as heritage to miserable descendants that the majority of them can hardly afford any maintenance. So they remain ,most of them deserted reminiscent of a glorious past.....
