Swamp of ice and snow (18)
The past 2 weeks, we had lots of snow in the southeastern part of Belgium.
I was there, enjoyed the winter and took some shots of course.
'Hohes Venn' is the greatest and oldest National Park of Belgium and the most unique nature biotope in the land (altitude: 694 meters above sea level) with a sub-alpine micro climate.
Under the great mass of snow lies a whole area of vast and desolate swamps.
Location : Steinley Venn (Hohes Venn, Belgium)
