Swamp hike (17)
This is the last landscape shot in my “swamp hike series” and shows another scenery part of the swampy peat moors of ‘Hohes Venn’, the greatest (4500 ha) and oldest National Park of Belgium and the most unique nature biotope in the land.
Just a few minutes before a heavy thunderstorm broke loose, a profound silence ruled above the vast and desolate landscape.
All was quiet over there and as still as a mouse.

Ich mag diese etwas düstere Stimmung und die gedämpften Farben! Wunderschön ist auch der Bildschnitt mit der kleinen Wasserstelle!

With this dark sky enhanced by the vignette the swamp does take on a mysterious and a bit threatening feel .... but the beauty of all the green and the trees and little watering hole still reigns supreme. A wonderful closing image to your series, Mark !!!greetings, Adele
