STill Together After All the Hardships

The road is not easy, Gypsies are not trusted for many reasons. The karma of rejection and distrust is supported by case studies of violence, theft and pickpocketing. When confronted there is no remorse or empathy with a hint of inconvenience leaving people aghast, helpless and venerable.

We can't hold every gypsy at fault when jobs are not given, and gypsy families struggle and left no options but to pickpocket people fr the money to survive one.

Its not often one gets into a gypsy camp and is invited into a gypsy family domain which is made out of card board plastic plywood and scrip remaiins of discarded homes, A door frame,, tarps to keep the rain out and your feet dry when the ground below is mud.

WHen I return I'll give them family portrays which remind them of their bond , and sadly what they have lost in the past for not being wanted. becuse of thier refusal to integrate into the host countries.

i get the impression that of the two she's the tough and sinewy one, the more accomplished survivor, whereas he, despite his "z-man-gypsy-king" rep, appears to have a certain softness about him that makes him take things more personally. fits of rage and a violent temper may compensate for it… of course i'm just delving into the image here. don't know them of course, so i'm probably judging them all wrong… greetings, sabine. p.s.: great documentary! i also really like the view from the threshold of her cleaning the chicken!
