Steller's Jay
the coastal version of this beautiful bird and symbol of my province British Columbia … he is rarely found in other parts of Canada, lives mostly in the mountains and coniferous trees, but comes into town to look for food ,,, he is shy and elusive, so I was lucky to catch him in our rhododendron bush !!!
