State House Dome, Annapolis

An architectural symbol of Maryland's capital, photographed in early spring.

Shot on an April afternoon on Fuji C200 film in a Nikon FA, through the Nikkor AI-S 80-200mm f/4 lens, wearing a polarizing filter. It makes its first appearance today. I was inspired to seek it out, as the dome is currently undergoing extensive repairs and restoration, and reminds one of a big sore thumb swaddled in a massive beige bandage ;-)
