Congrats on the gallery! I just love this image: the perspective, the interplay of light and dark, and the spectacular capture of the weather's changing faces. A beautiful sight. I should have guessed it was Norway's landscape. :)
thank you all for selecting my photo for the gallery. It was taken on top of a mountain in the Gudbrandsdalen valley near Otta in Norway. I had been making lots of pictures of snowy mountain tops when I turned around and saw what was going on behind my back over the valley. The light conditions changed by the second, so I had to be really quick.....
If I see the rightly, this is a great view upon a sunbathed valley with a downpour at the same time...?
Love the way you put Nature and meteorological events into focus, without the "distraction" of colour...
