Small Wisdom

This monkey was one of the many in front and around the Monkey Temple in Thailand. The tourists could buy some baby-bananas or use anything they had to feed the monkeys for fun. This small one didn't come to take as much food as his bigger relatives, but it still got a small piece of something and immediately jumped onto the tree, where it was somewhat safe to inspect it carefully.
As I later saw the picture, the monkey seemed so calm to me and somehow "wise" with its big eyes and thin face, just as some of the monks, depicted in the temples and monasteries.
