SMALL TOWN ONTARIO
Port Perry - ONTARIO. Not to be confused with Perry Sound - Ontario, further North, much more scenic town on Lake Muskoka. But this Perry fellow must have been there too. :)
s. sabine krause 21/07/2013 9:30perhaps all those who got distracted while trying to find parry sound, ontario, are redirected by that arrow in the foreground! ; ) don't want to sound pretentious, janos – well, i guess, i am… ; ) – but i just googled the two towns and found out that it wasn't the same guy after all: commodore perry, however, did get around! in fact, he must have been quite a go-getter, earning the title "hero of lake erie" for his achievements in the 1812 war, when he was still under the age of 30… parry sound, on the other hand, was simply named after the water close by. ; ) so i guess your little small-town place in ohio needn't be blue ; )) because it got named after a much more glamorous entity!! and that's at least something, isn't it? the emptiness of the place does make it look like a town in the middle of nowhere, though… greetings, sabine.
