The monastery of Panaghia Hozoviotissa(dedicated to The Holy Virgin) in Amorgos, was built by the Byzantine Emperor Alexius Comnenus in the mid 11th century .

quando vedo questi monasteri, qualcuno l'abbiamo anche in Italia, penso alla difficoltà nel costruirli per la mancanza di mezzi adeguati che all'epoca non c'erano.la tua bella immagine dà l'idea della grandiosità dell'edificio che spicca bianchissimo nella roccia.
