Saint-Tropez | jet set village |

Once a military stronghold and small fishing village, Saint-Tropez became a well-known resort for the European and American jet set. In addition it attracts tourists who try their luck to see some celebrities. Its a little bit strange to walk through the old, narrow streets, passing shops with luxury brands like Dior, Vuitton and others.
However, until today Saint-Tropez has been able to preserve its old roots.

Sieht sehr idyllisch aus, den Blick auf die Dächer finde ich perfekt gewählt, so kommt auch das Meer im Hintergrund wunderbar zur Geltung. Einen schönen Anblick, gerade an solchen kalten und grauen Tagen wie heute. :-)

Ein sehr schöner Blick über die Dächer der Altstadt. Man kann erahnen, wie verwinkelt der innere Bereich ist.

a cozy looking village with its old architecture and little church - in the distance however two small cruiseship, and one can imagine the tourists invading the quiet spaces .... fine from this viewpoint and sharp details throughout !!!

Für Künstler und die High Society war Saint Tropez schon immer ein anziehender Ort und wenn ich mir das hier so anschaue, finde ich den Ort auch sehr attraktiv. :-)

I visited St Tropez at summer 1972......and what a great desilution.....I saw only one poor fishing village. Where were Jet people?...I didn`t saw only one:-)))))
