Rita sacrifice at the waterspout
30 waterspouts give the holy springwater to the worshippers who take the spöiritual bath in Tirta Empul.
Once she has cleansed herself under the first spout she uses the next. This process is continued until she has cleansed herself under each waterspout. However, there are two spouts that are meant only for cleansing the dead and are prohibited to be used by the living for the melukat ritual.

Ein schönes Bild das die tiefe Religiosität der Balinesen verdeutlicht.Ich habe mir einen solchen Platz gerade in Deutschland vorgestellt, montags morgens, voll mit leeren Flaschen, Plastik. und Grillabfällen. Was haben uns die Balinesen doch an Kultur voraus !
