By looking at your picture and reading your words I feel touched by both of them. A sad picture, but nevertheless important to remember us of the terrible consequences of war, yesterday and today! I am especially touched by the knowledge, that an Australian visits German cemetries of fallen soldiers. I like your idea to combine the hand of a living human being (your hand, I assume) with dead and grey material, but I think also it would have been better to hold the hand of the brother and not put in on the head like a priest. Perhaps I would have drawn back the sleeves of the jacket to underline the contrast between dead and life.Greetings Ludwig
