Platax fish known as Batfish
The Platax pinnatus, also called the longfin batfish is a beautiful colored sealife in the deapth of 10 to 15 meters.
The juveniles are mainly black with the body and median fins outlined in orange or yellow and the dorsal and anal fins are greatly elongated.
They can change colour from silvery white with no bands, to brown with darker banding as you watch, and then fade back to silver again.
During our drift dive, the colorful fish moved very slowly alongside us divers, so that we almost had the impression of diving with blinders on.
