Pitcher plant
This is a Pitcher Plant, a carnivorous plant that lives in my bog garden. Insects fly around and fall down into the shaft. There are sticky hairs pointing down and they can't get out. Dragonflies like to hang out and snatch the bugs before they take their last swan dive into the abyss...
