Cindy Sherman transforms herself with make-up, wigs, masks, clothing and backgrounds and then takes her auto-portrait. Her exhibition of portraits was amazing - she looks totally different in every picture and is not recognizable.
Here two photographs of herself in a series of "paintings of people in the Middle Ages"

Die Aufnahmne wird erst verständlich, wenn man deine Erklärung gelesen hat. Man könnte sonst kaum auf die Idee kommen, dass sich hier immer die gleiche Fotografin selber portraitiert ... verblüffend anzusehen.LG Doris
