In my opinion it is a good picture despite the hard light from there. I feel high humidity ... the fog is like a filter.

this is always difficult , a lot of light in the skye , and a dark foreground . Although there is an overexposure ( sun ) , you still can see details in the foreground . It gives a very warm atmosphere . suggetion : take once to pics ( on tripod ) , one over exposure , and one under, and combine them . I don't know what it gives , but give it a try
