Pastels of Spring along the Great Falls Overlook Trail
The pastels of early spring in the new growth of trees along the Great Falls Overlook Trail
give promise of a color-rich Springtime on this mid-April afternoon. The setting, in Potomac,
Maryland, is just minutes from the tumultuous rapids (*) of the Great Falls of the Potomac River.
The scene was captured last April on Fujicolor Superia-200 film through
the 40mm F. Zuiko lens of my Olympus 35 RD compact rangefinder camera.
