ParkScape No. 14 - By the Viaduct
A sunbathed autumn afternoon in late October...
The view is along the Park Avenue Viaduct, looking uptown toward Grand Central Terminal, with the
MetLife Building rising just beyond. The distinctive spire of the neighboring One Vanderbilt skyscraper
appears to MetLife's left, framed by tree limbs.
The verticality of this, a favorite slice of Midtown Manhattan, was encompassed through
the wide-angle eye of a Carl Zeiss Flektogon 20mm f/2.8 lens on a Chinon CE-3 SLR.
The scene was captured on Eastman 5222 [XX] film.
