ParkScape No. 13 - The Viaduct and Grand Central Terminal
In the sunlight of an October afternoon, a tele-compressed melange of autumn-festive trees, lampposts,
and hanging baskets leads the eye along the Park Avenue Viaduct toward Grand Central Terminal.
Beyond GCT rises the MetLife Building. The viaduct structure carries Park Avenue around the east and west elevations of GCT, through portals in the Helmsley Building (230 Park Ave, just beyond MetLife) to rejoin and continue uptown.(*)
