If you want to meet Paris on a one-on-one basis (if you haven´t experienced it yet, it is a place that is crawling with people all year round - getting in the picture at the wrong moment all the time..), then muster all your courage and strength and stroll about very early in the morning, most ideally in July or August (during the vacation period Paris is particularly calm). This picture was taken in August around 6h30 in the morning. It is a panoramic shot (taken with a tripod), stitched together in PS CS3, which a dream tool to work with for this type of purpose.
