a group of very young kids starting early to learn Whistler's second favourite sport of biking down the trails of Whistler's mountains .
we met this group on our hike through the woods around Lost Lake in Whistler ...

  danke, liebe Conny ... ja, Du hast recht - auf derselben Wanderung um den See herum sahen wir ein kleines Maedchen stuerzen nach einer steilen Bergfahrt, die es nicht stoppen konnte. Sie schrie wie am Spiess, Arm und Bein verletzt, vielleicht gebrocchen. Ihre Eltern und Geschwister waren alle auf dieser Tour und konnten es trotzdem nicht verhindern.

  Ja, das ist dann eines der Erlebnisse die einem nicht als positives Erlebnis in Erinnerung bleiben..
  Ich hoffe die Verletzungen waren letztlich nur Abschürfungen, auch das kann stark schmerzen.
