Norway | Romsdalen |
The river Rauma runs through the Romsdalen, a 60km long valley that reaches the sea at the Romsdalsfjord.
The valley is narrow and the river Rauma changes often. Sometimes the water runs wide, slow and calm, a few kilometers further on it shows its power by falling down through narrow rock walls.
This picture has been taken near the end of the valley at the entry to Ister Valley, which leads to Trollstigen and Geiranger.
