Midtown-East Skyline and Queensboro Bridge from Roosevelt Island Tram
The Roosevelt Island Tramway (*) connects Roosevelt Island in the East River with
midtown Manhattan, running alongside and just to the north of the Queensboro Bridge.
This view was captured on a very clear December night as the tram cabin was approaching the
western end of its journey. The two tall buildings centered between the bridge and the tram support
cable structure are 432 Park Avenue at left and the Bloomberg Tower (731 Lexington Avenue) at right.
