Auch als NGC 5457, Pinwheel-Galaxie bezeichnet ist eine Spiralgalaxie im Sternbild Großer Bär. Ihre Entfernung beträgt rund 22 Millionen Lichtjahre, ihr Durchmesser 170.000 Lj.

wunderschön.... Gruß Urbi (Wenn man bedenkt dass eine Licht-Sekunde ca. 7X um die Erde geht, hier aber von Millionen von Licht-Jahren gesprochen wird, einfach erstaunlich alles.
