Mallard (female)
In the very early morning sunlight (5h30 am), one can also take lovely pictures of a so-called 'ordinary' mallard and admire her beauty.......
The mallard is probably the best known of all wild ducks which breeds throughout the temperate areas of Europe, Asia, and North America.
In the past, this duck was also introduced into New Zealand, Australia, South America and South Africa.
Dutch name : Wilde eend
German name : Stockente
Latin name : Anas platyrhynchos
