Clarity of subject detail and the differences in hues give this a wonderful old-world look and feel. The diminishing diagonal perspective of the receding track and freight cars lead the viewer directly into the image and hold them there with lots of interesting textures, patterns, patinas, surfaces, graphics and tensions between man-made mega-machines and natural elements of earth, snow and sky. There's some hot areas in the clouds, but for the most part an outstanding composition Love the tri-tone look and feel.
