La Gran Piedra (The Big Rock)
On of the biggest monolith in the world is located near Santiago de Cuba and worth to visit. The rock that is on it's sumit is just fantastic. The huge evergreens, we'd never thought we were in tropical Cuba.
Nestled within the verdant Sierra Maestra mountain range, this grand monolith weighs in at 63,000 tons and is thought to have been formed after an explosion from a nearby underwater volcano.
