over here the lilac bloom has only just begun. nothing more wonderful than passing through a schrebergartensiedlung ; ) on a hot may day and suddenly sensing the first whiff of a lilac in the air… brigitte, markus and i, i guess, are sniffing in unison! ; ) hugs, sabine. p.s.: i love the speckled light in the back!

In Zaragoza their flowering time already passed at least 3 weeks ago....so it is wonderful see them here again, in all their violet beauty:

An explosion of colour, delicacy and light - only their perfume is not here.

I will send this photo as a fotomail to my sister Ana, she loves the lilacs and will like your shot a lot.

I love lilacs (especially this color) because they flower in May when my birthday is... I adore their smell and always fill vases with them.
