I agree with Daren about the crop but think it is the splash that makes it.. it's the other side I'd crop. Can see what you were looking to achieve here and very nearly got it but can't recommend it for the gallery.. sorry.Daren Borzynski 11/06/2007 15:13 Voting comment
The water movement & scene are well captured.Great fresh colours!!...but I think the crop of the image could be better.
If you want us to concentrate on the water movement & expression of the person, I would give it a much tighter crop.. this would also remove the top left corner which has a water splash that distracts us.
Sorry.. as is, I dont think this is for Gallery.

I just had to look up the word 'anectodic'; can't find it, but if it means 'this is a shot that will not make the Gallery', then I agree, its too anectodic for me too!
