There's a clever play with the lady's eyelook; she seems to flirt with the camera gently, yet, at the same time, someone can understand that she's got a (half hidden) melancholy that shouldn't be passed by. I believe that this situation is also recognizable at other portraits of hers (see "just me" series), which means that this might be an existing element of her character.Enne See
