Jesus Christ as he ascends to his Father in heaven
Jesus Christ, honoured by God the Father after his humiliation, is leaving this visible earth to become king in the invisible realm. This is what "Ascension" is about. He reigns now, but he will come back in a visible way. How he left this earth? His hands show it: By blessing those who followed him.
