During the ceremony of Pengerebongan thousands of worshippers entered into the holy yard to bring their offerings and get the blessing from the Pemangku priest:
This tradition was held eight days after Kuningan Day, specifically on Radite (Sunday) Pon Wuku Medangsia according to the Balinese calendar system. The Ngerebong ceremony aims as a reminder for Hindus to maintain a harmonious relationship between human and God, between human and another human, and between human and the universe (the concept of Tri Hita Karana).

    Ein richtiges Sonntagsbild, sehr schön festlich und die Menschen sind ganz bei der Sache. Das ist ja hierzulande selten. Ale fummeln ständig am Handy herum und es ist wie der horror vacui (die Furcht vor dem leeren Raum zu Zeiten von Guerike..)..VG und einen schönen Sonntagnachmittag, Ludwig

      danke Dir Ludwig, doch leider ist auch auf Bali das Smartphone ein unverzichbares Begleitinstrument geworden, der Einfluss hat sich überall zum gleichen Übel entwickelt, auch wenn man einige positive Seiten abgewinnen kann (siehe mein nächste Foto), Gruß Wolfgang
