In the Land of Pleasant Living No.3 - You Know You're in Crab Country When...
So, what happens when you mate a giant Maryland crab with...a modern dance company???
I also call this "Crab on Stilts," but in the interest of accurate reportage, I've no idea what
the artist called it, for there was no title plaque to be seen, nor could I find anyone to ask.
It just made me smile when I spotted it during a visit to the Baltimore Herb Fest in
Leakin Park on a splendid May afternoon..I hope you enjoy the whimsy, too.
The Crab/Corps de Ballet was shot on Fujichrome Provia-400X slide film, whose vibrant palette
just loved the colorful crab, the nearby red roof, and the trees on that gorgeous spring day.
It was taken with the Canon EF 28-80mm f/2.8-4 L-Series lens, using a polarizing filter, on an EOS-3.
