In the Footsteps of Ghosts....
.... The Menin Gate, Ieper, Belgium.
During World War 1, Allied soldiers on their way to the front lines marched through this gate. It now bears the names of over 54,800.
All those posted as "Missing" after the terrible battles fought in what became known as the Ieper Salient.
Men from all 60 Australian Battalions are listed here.
Late at night, it is not hard to imagine the passage of Ghosts.
