Horse Mint
Horse mint is a pretty rare and rather unknown plant species with a peppermint-scented aroma, that likes to grow in very wet and damp places, like the swamps of ‘Hohes Venn’, the greatest national park of Belgium.
Flowers from mid to late summer.
Dutch name : Hertsmunt (ook bosmunt genaamd)
German name : Rossminze
Latin name : Mentha longifolia longifolia (syn. Mentha sylvestris)
