Hawaiian Boogie-boarding 13
The violent shore-break at Sandy Beach on the windward side of Oahu, Hawaii presents challenges to body-surfing and boogie-boarding.
I was working in Honolulu for 6-months and during my free time, I would photograph the activity on the water. Due to the shore-break most of the activity took place near the beach so an extreme long lens was not needed to capture the action. I used a Nikon D-300 ISO 800+ and shutter speeds up to 8000fps and a 300mm f.4 lens
