Elefanten am Okaukuejo Wasserloch. 3 Herden erschienen lautlos aus dem Nichts. Sie fuehrten viele Kleine mit sich. Die Liebe und Fuersorge der Aelteren war ruehrend.
3 herds appeared without sound at the Okaukuejo waterhole , there were many little ones and the care and love shown by older ones was very touching.

Nice shot of my favourite animals! Personally I would crop a bit off the top (take the soil off, cutting into the elephant's head) and off the right (so you don't see any soil there either) - just a suggestion, the way I look at it :-) - I think it could make the image more powerful.Grt, Ingrid.

water – our earthly elixir of life! their long and trying journey was obviously worth it! having refreshed himself at the waterhole, this juvenile seems to take pleasure in staring at the camera in exhausted but happy wonder! ; ) elephants – magnificent creatures! their wrinkly yet tender, primevally looking skin always strikes me as so touching! what a wonderful diverse place earth is!! beautifully captured, as always, cathy! greetings, sabine.Anita Mair 14/09/2015 20:11
