Hi John,a very fine pic! The green color makes it special!
I guess due to scanning there is some clipping of the green color (i.e. just plain green, no nuances, which usually shows when there´s much saturation in a part of a pic) at the lower border. If so, maybe You can avoid this, by scanning the negative/slide with an underexposure of 1 AV and boosting the colors afterwards in Your image editing software.
