I like this certain distance in the portrait, sophisticated and distant I would say. And I definitely like best the not so detailed, softer kind of photography compared to what many photographers come up with, especially these hair splitting,over-focussed and overdetailed portraits with makro lenses. It's not so that I dislike this way, but I generally prefer yours.
Again, here, with a perfect background and exceptional toning.
