weiß nicht, was eindrucksvoller ist - bild oder text!das bild: hochexpressiv - fast denkbar von kinderhand, aber dafür doch zu stark symbolbeladen - vielleicht das gemälde eines psychisch kranken?
oder doch eines (mir unbekannten ) expressionisten?
jedenfalls allerhand dunkles, böses, lauerndes
rotglühende katzenaugen mit gefährlich verlängerten krallenpfoten
die schlange sich fies im schutze des blauen kopfes heranschleichend
das kann nur die visualisierung im unterbewußtsein schlummernder ängste? aggressionen? laster ? sein
die lechzende schlange, die zum thema °lüge° des textes hinführt --- der in fast zärtlich-ironischer-poetischer sprache die auswirkungen dieser charakterschwäche beschreibt, die zwischenmenschliche beziehungen zerstört
und doch: wahrheit kann brutaler sein als eine notlüge, ohne solche würde die gesellschaft wohl nicht auskommen!
ich liebe so antithetische , auf den ersten blick unlogisch erscheinende formulierungen wie: °enjoy - breathe in a problem° - die doppeldeutigkeit von °lie° !
ein ganz starkes duo, über das man lange weitergrübeln kann!

I hope you do not mind me writing a collective answer to the re-current question: What is the relationship between the text and the photo. I do it in English so that it will be easy to follow for all (or so I hope).
To be honest I partly share your questions about the relationship of the text and the photo. A colleague at work asked me to take some pictures for him which he needed for an application to get funding for a project which is trying helping kids who are having difficult times because they parents are or have been separating. With very simple means.
The photo is part of a drawing made by a boy on a chair. (The chair was broken, waiting to be disposed off). The group the boy was attending was focussing on lies. These children find it difficult to relate to reality as they have been living in a reality which was filled with lies: between the parents, between mother & the child, father and the child but also between the child and their friends, relatives or neighbours. Lies to protect, to deceit, to escape, to provoke, to hide behind, to avoid (a definitive decision), to distort, to humiliate, to take advantage of, out of fear - and so on.
I did not ask about the meaning of this drawing. While I was taking the photos of the drawings my colleague indicated to me I just listened and listened and listened.

Lieber Eric,ich hatte gestern bereits einmal angesetzt, etwas zu deinem Bild zu schreiben, es aber doch wieder aufgegeben, weil ich nicht den rechten Zusammenhang zwischen Text und Fotografie fand ... und, wie ich zugeben muss, immer noch nicht finde.
Was das Motiv der Aufnahme betrifft, habe ich eine Vermutung, worauf es sich beziehen könnte, zumindest auf den ersten Blick. Ich sehe darin eine Szene aus dem musikalisches Märchen "Peter und der Wolf" von Sergei Prokofjew. Peter war aus dem Garten gelaufen und hatte die Pforte offen gelassen. Die gutmütige, aber etwas einfältige Ente nutzte den Moment und watschelte hinaus zum Teich, auf dem es sich herrlich schwimmen und mit dem kleinen Vogel am Ufer diskutieren ließ. Nun kam tatsächlich der Wolf aus dem Wald und in ihrer Panik tat die Ente etwas völlig Falsches, sie schwamm ans Ufer, wo der Wolf natürlich leichtes Spiel hatte und die Ente fraß ... Den Moment vor dem "Mord", den Wolf und die Ente am Teich, sieht man auf der Fotografie.
Natürlich könnte es auch ganz anders sein ...
Nun kann man versuchen, die beiden Hauptdarsteller des Märchens zu analysieren und in ihren Eigenschaften oder als Sinnbild mit dem verlinkten Text in Verbindung zu bringen. Und da komme ich nicht mehr weiter ...
Das Phänomen des Lügens wurde gewiss ausgiebig untersucht, auch und besonders, was die psychologischen Komponenten betrifft. http://arbeitsblaetter.stangl-taller.at/KOMMUNIKATION/KommLuegen.shtml Trotzdem bin ich persönlich für größtmögliche Aufrichtigkeit einem anderen Menschen gegenüber. Gutgemeinte Rücksichtnahme kann manchmal mehr schaden oder wehtun, als klare Worte. Diese können natürlich nicht mit der Holzhammermethode verabreicht werden und gewiss ist das nicht immer einfach, dauert, auch weil man vielleicht selbst nicht sicher ist oder nicht den Mut hat, etwas auszusprechen usw.. Viele kleine Lügen, auch solche, die ganz Alltägliches oder persönliche Befindlichkeiten, Vorstellungen und Wünsche betreffen, und dazu zähle ich auch Nichtausgesprochenes, aber Gedachtes, summieren sich möglicherweise und lassen sich am Ende gar nicht mehr lösen oder vermitteln ein völlig anderes Bild des Gegenüber, als es in ihm selbst vorhanden ist.
Das kann aber auch nur ein Denkansatz sein. Diese Problematik ist sehr vielschichtig ... allerdings auch sehr interessant, wenn man offen dafür ist.

some great thinking!! with tons of stuff for us to brood over and digest! and i really really like the picture in the frame: i might be that i'm making a fool of myself now: but it looks like a child's painting to me, a kind of "jungle-book vision": a panther and a "ka-like" snake "lying!!" right next to it. horror or joy on the face of the panther, delirious silence on the face of the snake – and then there's water – a blue relief… greetings, sabine. p.s. love the ambiguous treatment of the word lie – lügen, liegen!Inez Correia Marques 25/06/2010 17:58
