First stop for overnight stay in Naudada
n 1986 Naudada was the first stop on the Jomson-trek to overnight. The tour to Jomson took one week (for my wife and me). Today this village can be reached by car. The idyllic place lies on an hill crest and allows a stunning view to the peaks of the Himalayan mountain range.
The trekking path from Pokhara to Jomson already was a very much liked tour for travelers that time and its the salt road to Tibet for more than thousand years. Along this way the residents are more wealthy then in other parts of Nepal.
The slide photo is scanned by a Nikon CoolScan 5000 ED from Kodachrome 100.
(In case of replacing a new original photo, the result is always wrong: instead the actual image, the old one keeps posted on FC. Here I deleted the old one and post a new edited image.)
